New DrumBox users:
The video on YouTube is really old and needs to be updated.  DrumBox was rewritten in Java a couple of years ago and looks different from the video.  It's also a lot more powerful than the first version though the basic idea is still the same.

Experienced DrumBox users:
DrumBox works very much like before, some features have been added and bugs have been fixed.  We hope this puts an end to tracks that don't get saved properly. 

What's New in DrumBox NG
Some of the changes are internal, to improve the program's reliability.  The main visible changes are:

• Built in browser for drum tracks - The bottom third of the DrumBox window is a search tool for finding and loading drum tracks.  Clicking the search button will load a list of all current drum tracks, you can change the sorting by clicking on the heading of each column.  If you want to search for tracks by a particular user then enter the user name into the search box and click Search.  Double click on a drum track from the list to load it into DrumBox.  You can hide the seach window by checking the 'Hide tracks list' checkbox in the center control panel portion of the DrumBox window.
• Import other tracks - The 'Merge' checkbox let's you blend stuff from other tracks into your track.  When this box is checked if you double click a track to load it the old track will not be erased, so the new track is added to whatever was already loaded at the time.
